Improving Children's Health through world leading research and researchers

A2002072; A2002312

The aim of CHORAL is to improve physical, social, and mental health of children, young people and families by providing the infrastructure to coordinate and facilitate world leading children’s health research, and enabling equitable access to health and social care. Child health research across Leeds is world-leading but fragmented, so this project will connect clinicians, clinical scientists, and non-clinical academics to enable a whole system approach to child health. They will also focus on innovative data linkages to improve understanding of social, educational and psychological outcomes. The project will support future leaders in Child Health research, through fellowship opportunities and research prizes.
