Jake Hornsbury, Director of Retail at Leeds Hospitals Charity said: “We’re proud to be opening our new shop in Horsforth, built around doing good and focused on delivering a great shopping experience whilst making sure our customers still find a bargain. “This is a great opportunity for us to expand our presence in the community and we can follow our mantra of doing good, together. From providing even more money to support our hospitals in Leeds, to reducing waste and offering a real alternative to fast fashion, creating opportunities to volunteer and helping our local communities thrive. “We’re looking forward to welcoming the people of Horsforth to our shop!” Leeds Hospitals Charity provides over £6 million a year in additional funds to support Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The two existing charity shops help the charity contribute even more money to fund things like, life-saving equipment, research into rare diseases and home comforts. The charity is encouraging people in the local area to donate their unwanted goods to the charity shop and offers a free home collection service for bigger items like furniture. Volunteers are a key part of keeping the charity shop up and running, and the charity is actively recruiting new volunteers to join the team. Manage Cookie Preferences
