This past quarter has seen some amazing support from our corporate supporters, and we want to say a huge THANK YOU for all the fundraising undertaken in support of our hospitals.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to share our upcoming plans, including our Christmas Sparkle Champaign, a fun Reindeer Run event and our "Balls to Cancer" fundraising ball. But first, let’s take a moment to celebrate the fantastic achievements of the last quarter.

The difference your support makes:

7 Days of Play appeal gives seriously ill children access to play in hospital every day of the week

The Play Team at Leeds Children’s Hospital already does an incredible job to support seriously ill children throughout a difficult time and make every day the best it can be.

But, right now, the Play Team is not available seven days a week in all the wards of the hospital, and some patients have no access to a playworker.

7 Days of Play

NECS Yorkshire and Humber Team’s Fundraising Fortnight

A Sweet Success!

On 7th August 2024, the North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) Yorkshire and Humber team hosted a sell-out charity bake sale - alongside volunteering and fitness challenges - as part of their "fundraising fortnight."

Aiming to raise £500, the team surpassed their target, with £630 being raised over the fortnight! They utilised their space in Wellington Place to sell delicious cakes, cookies and the "infamous" millionaire shortbread. This heartwarming display of community spirit proves that sometimes the smallest gestures can have the most meaningful impact.
