7 Stories of MND

Why More Needs Doing

This Leeds Hospitals Charity exhibition shows 7 stories; 7 was Rob Burrow’s rugby league shirt number.

The exhibition will begin at Leeds Train Station, on Friday 4th November and run until the weekend of the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in May. During this time the exhibition will move to the following locations:

4th - 24th Nov: Leeds Train Station
24th Nov - 12th Dec: Kirkgate Market
12th - 27th Dec: Dortmound Sq
9th - 30th Jan: Briggate
6th - 25th Feb: Corn Exchange

They offer a glimpse of a bigger picture. Roughly 40 people will be diagnosed in Leeds each year with this cruellest of diseases. More than half of those who receive a diagnosis of MND die within two years.

These 7, including Rob, bravely volunteered to share their stories in support of our appeal to build a new Rob Burrow Centre for MND. Rob Burrow and his wife, Lindsey, are patrons of Leeds Hospitals Charity.

A true Leeds hero, Rob has put MND into devastating focus, and by doing so, inspired thousands of us to fundraise for the cause.

These are stories of love, hope, and courage. Those devastated by MND deserve more. We’re halfway to our target to realise Rob’s vision.

Please, donate what you can, to help us build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND, here in Leeds.
